Sadie Bayouth

October 12, 1925 - July 21, 2025

Wichita, Kansas - Sadie "Sally" "Sabina" Bayouth, 99, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mel Bayouth; infant son, Robert. Sadie was married to Mel for 66 years. They met in Brooklyn, NY in 1949 during a visit by Mel; later that year they were married and lived there until 1956 when she moved to Wichita with her husband. Sadie enjoyed working outside the home as a secretary, spending over 20 years at AB Liquor Sales office and later at Central State Bank.

Sadie, born October 12, 1925, was the daughter of Frank and Catherine Favia and had three sisters. She is survived by her son, Dr. William (Karen) Bayouth of Lawrence, KS; grandchildren, Emily Bayouth, Rebecca Carlson, Daniel Bayouth; great-granddaughters, Julia and Violet Bayouth.

Trisagion and Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Graveside Service will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206.
