Sadie Mae Holt Conley, 87, of Leary , GA died Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her home. Services for her and her husband, John Conley will be at a later date.
Born in Calhoun County, Sadie spent most of her life in the Bullneck area with her husband of sixty seven years. She worked as a tax accessor at the Calhoun County tax office. She was a member of the Leary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was known fir her famous chocolate pies. She loved her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Conley who called her youngin and she called him John Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. Holt and and Ruby Paul Holt, a sister, Jan Holt Shannon and brothers, Don Holt, J. L. Holt and Daniel Holt.
She is survived by her two children Sheila (Bill) Davis of Indiantown, FL and Kevin (Shelby) Conley of Albany, GA, her two grandchildren who called her "Mammy", Wrenn Conley and Baldwin Conley, her sister, Nadine (Ronnie) Angel and her brother Sidney (Cherie) Holt.
