Sadie "TR" Hamilton, age 85 of Melvin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at McDowell ARH, McDowell, Kentucky. She was born January 4, 1940 in Melvin, Kentucky to the late Hatler & Edna Stanley Johnson. She was the wife of the late Burley Hamilton. She is survived by her Sons: Avery "Jackie" (Barbara) Hamilton of Melvin, Kentucky, Terry (the late Allison Shirl) Hamilton of McDowell, Kentucky & Gary (Lisa) Hamilton of Melvin, Kentucky; Daughters: Mary Sue (Ted) Jones of Melvin, Kentucky & Shelia (Charles) Tackett of Hi Hat, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Jessie, Brent, Chassity, Daniel, Samantha, Joe, Drew, Austin & Alex; Great Grandchildren: Jacob, Dalton, Abbi, Koda, Connor, Landon, Chloe, Dylan, Kaleb, Savannah, Avery, Zach, Zayne, Collin, Zander, Izzy B & Little Sadie; Great Great Grandchild: Tucker "Monroe" & Ella; Brothers: Johnny Johnson of Michigan, Ronnie Johnson of London, Kentucky & Lonnie Johnson of Wheelwright, Kentucky. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her great grandchild: Little Dewey; Brothers & Sisters: Donald Johnson, Conley Johnson, Myrtle Tackett, Florence Henderson, Molly Bryant, Ethel Johnson, Phyllis Newsome, Reba Johnson & Arlene Howell. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6pm at Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, Melvin, Kentucky and will continue all day Thursday, September 11, 2025

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1pm at the church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating

Burial will follow at Tilton Johnson Cemetery, Melvin, Kentucky
