Sally Brunner, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Mitchell Manor in Mitchell, IN.
Born on May 21, 1953, Sally was a woman whose life was marked by love, generosity, and unwavering presence for those around her. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and was known for always showing up whenever someone needed her. Sally’s kindness, compassion, and selflessness left a lasting impression on her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her husband, William Brunner, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Day and Lola McCabe Day; sister, Pam Knuckles; brother, Jerry Day; son-in-law, Eric Grubb; and stepson, Joseph Roark.
She is survived by her daughters, Ginger Hicks and husband, Thomas Roark, and Glenda Grubb; siblings, Robert Day and Brenda Tucker; grandchildren, Sally Mills, Danilia Grubb, Ruth Jones, Alissa Hicks, and Cameron Hicks; step grandchildren, Willia Roark, Emmalyn Roark, Damien Roark, and Iziabella Roark; and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Service arrangements are pending at this time and will be announced once finalized.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist with expenses. Donations may be made online by selecting the “Donate Now” icon, in person at the funeral home, or by calling the funeral home directly. All donations will go toward assisting with expenses, and the family will receive a list of donors.
