Sally Ann Cordes, (née Clingenpeel), of Little Canada, MN, passed away on February 20, 2024, in Maplewood, MN, at the age of 88. She was born on November 2, 1935, in Minneapolis, MN
 
After earning her associate degree at Concordia Saint Paul, Sally began her career as a secretary at Schmitt Music Company and later became the beloved mother of four children. She was also the proprietor of the Cookery Nook in Rockford, MI, worked in food service at the Foremost Insurance Headquarters, and in retirement volunteered in the CSP Alumni Office. 
 
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her spouse, Robert Cordes; her children, Susan Young, David Cordes (Peri), John Cordes, Cheryl Cordes; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Forest & Dorothy Clingenpeel. 
 
Sally's passions extended beyond her career and family. She enjoyed hobbies such as baking, cooking, card making, scrapbooking, bird watching, watching sports including the CSP Championship Volleyball team and participating in hand bell and choral choirs. She also had a love for traveling the world. 
 
A ceremony to honor Sally's life will be held at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2330 Dale St. N, Roseville, MN 55113, on Saturday, March 2, 2024. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am, with luncheon to follow. 
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert & Erna Cordes Scholarship Fund at Concordia University St Paul
