Sally Dion Obituary
Sally Lanzetta Dion, 79, of Burlington, VT died on July 6, 2023 at home surrounded by her caring and loving family.
Born on July 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Philomena Lanzetta. She was a graduate of Rice Memorial High School class of 1961. On September 17, 1966, she married Raymond Dion.
Sally is survived by her husband Raymond Dion of 57 years. She was the loving mother to Barbara (Mark) Endres and John Dion. A cherished grandmother to Lydia, David, and Sarah Endres, Adela, and Greta Dion. Her presence will be missed by many other family members, relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to BAYADA Hospice for providing comforting care.
A private celebration of life will be held on a later date. Arrangements are in care of the Cremation Society of Chittenden County.

Ray, Barbara, and John - I just learned from a friend the news about Sally. I cannot tell you how very saddened I am to hear this. We worked together at the Cancer Center in the late 1980´s and early 1990´s and I still tell stories about Sally (there are so many). Please know that I am thinking of you all during what must be a very difficult time. She was one in a million and I will never forget her. With all my love, Jane Low

I am saddened to hear of Sallys passing she was a wonderful ladie and she will be greatly missed she made the best cheesecake I ever had and was a good friend

Worked with Sally at the Cancer Center at UVM. We had a great time. She was funny and we had some wonderful laughs together. Sorry to hear this news.
