Sally Friday Obituary
Sally Anne (Fiske) Friday Age 81 of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away June 13, 2025. She was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on June 29, 1943 to Finley and Beulah (Lasley) Fiske. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University. While attending college, Sally met her future husband, Donald L. Friday, and they married on June 12, 1965 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She relished every moment of her 25 year teaching career. She enjoyed golfing, reading and having her grandkids every Saturday night.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald.
Sally will be greatly missed by her daughter, Stephanie Friday; son, David (Wendy) Friday; granddaughters, Natalie and Emma Friday; step grandson, Nathan (Darbi) Neighbors; step great-grandchildren, Eli and Delani; brother, Bob Fiske; brother-in-law, James (Lois) Friday; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Memorials will be directed to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and the American Heart Association.
