Sally K. Harder

SALLY K. (nee Knight) HARDER, 77, of North Caldwell died Wednesday. Born in New York City, Mrs. Harder was a longtime resident of Cedar Grove before moving to North Caldwell. She was a Special Teacher for Speech and Dramatics at Memorial Day Nursery of Paterson from 1967 to 2000. Mrs. Harder was a Swimming Instructor at the Paterson YMCA. She was a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church of Little Falls. Mrs. Harder was a graduate of Skidmore College, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Dramatics and was a member of the Playcrafters of West Essex for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, George A. Harder, in 1989. Survivors include: her son, Douglas Harder and his wife, Patricia of Little Falls; her daughter, Lisa Harder of Syracuse, NY; her brother, Gordon Knight of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; her sister, Sandra Larkin of Sparkill, NY and her two grandchildren, DJ and Melissa Harder. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday Morning at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Private Cremation to follow. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
