Sally Ellen (Northup) Hulcher, age 91 of Jackson, died peacefully in her sleep the morning of July 2, 2024 with her son John by her side. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Alfred and Eleanor (Copeland) Northup, husband, James Hulcher Sr., son, James Hulcher Jr., sister Judith (Northup) Beckett, brother Alfred Northup, stepmother Koneta Northup, and brother Kerry Northup. She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Northup) Glass, son, John Hulcher, granddaughter, Carly (Hulcher) Holmes, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Sally was born March 31, 1933 in South Charleston, Ohio. She was an avid quilter and crafter. She spent many years making quilts for family and friends alike. She knitted and crocheted and was almost always working on a plastic canvas project. She created jewelry and handmade ornaments for herself and loved ones. Sally enjoyed traveling, and visited several places in and outside of the US. She enjoyed playing cards with family and baking for many holidays.

Have a lot of good memories of Sally. She was our neighbor and babysitter when growing up. Spend a lot of time with both of her boys John and Jim. Sorry to hear of her passing.

I'm so very sorry to hear Sally passed. I only knew her from Summit Park, and she was so very sweet when she came to activities or to have her nails done. Condolences for the loss of your mom.

John, we are sorry to hear of Sally´s passing. She was such a good neighbor to us for most of my life. I remember many times when I was younger, when she would help my Mom with laundry or fix a meal for our family. She was a very caring and compassionate person. We are thinking of you, and we´ll be praying for you during this difficult time.
