Sally Ann Minshall

Sally Ann Minshall, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 on October 15, 2024, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Born on December 11, 1950, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to James "Jim" and Pearl Louise (Thurman) Sumpter, Sally spent her life surrounded by the love of family and friends, showcasing her warm and kind personality throughout her years.

Sally's career spanned several years as a bookkeeper for Minshall's Concrete, which she co-owned with her husband, yet her most cherished role was as a devoted mom and housewife. Her home was a haven filled with laughter and joy, particularly during the Christmas season — her favorite holiday.  Sally eagerly hosted gatherings for family and friends, creating an atmosphere of love and connection that will be fondly remembered for years to come by all who attended.

She is survived by her loving children: Shane Webb of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Blake Webb (Heather) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Staci Smith (Aaron) of Tuttle, Oklahoma; Tony Minshall (Nickie) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Wayne Minshall of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sally took great pride in her family, including her ten cherished grandchildren: Jordan Webb, Hannah Webb, Ayden Webb, Kaitlyn Webb, Kylie Smith, Drue Smith, Taylon Smith, Aison Smith, Ryan Minshall, and Leah Minshall. Her legacy continues with two great-grandchildren, Kaisen and Briggs Webb. Sally is also survived by her brother, Delbert Sumpter (Louann) of Chandler, Oklahoma, as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will deeply miss her kind spirit.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: four brothers, Leon, Bill, T.J., and Gerald, and her sister, Betty. She was also preceded by her husband, Keith Minshall, whose memory she carried with her.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home located at 5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, Oklahoma. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Tryon Christian Union Church, 104 North Oklahoma Street, Tryon, Oklahoma. Following the service, Sally will be interred at Tryon Cemetery beside her husband, Keith.  

Sally Ann Minshall will be remembered not just for her roles in life but for the love she shared and the family she cherished. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
