Sally A Morrow

Sally Ann (Bassmann) Morrow, 75, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away December 17, 2025.
Sally was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, to the late Lewis and Mary (Struempf) Bassmann. She graduated from Helias Catholic High School in 1968 and went on to attend Lincoln University.
In high school, Sally worked at Gerbes, until beginning her career with Home Savings Bank. She worked there until her retirement in 2017. As an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, she was part of the choir for many years. Throughout her life she also volunteered in her community. She was active in organizations such as the Central Eastside Neighborhood Association, and the Jefferson City Historical Society.
She found great joy in life's simple and meaningful moments, especially time spent with family and friends. Antiquing, perusing rummage sales, traveling, and attending concerts with her sisters were among her favorite pastimes. She delighted in the thrill of discovering forgotten treasures and items with history and character. She inherited a deep appreciation for craftsmanship from her father, especially evident in her love of collecting clocks. Each piece reflected her fascination with time, tradition, and the stories objects carry with them.
Birds held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed watching them, listening to their songs, and finding comfort in their quiet presence. Whether observing them from a window or outdoors, they brought her a sense of peace and connection to nature. These interests reflected her thoughtful spirit, patience, and appreciation for beauty in everyday life.
She is survived by her Daughter; Kerensa (Brandon) Morrow-Kempf, Son; Bradley (Katherine) Morrow, Sisters; Mary Sue Higgins, Sherri Grothaus, Sarah Bassmann, Brother; Sidney Bassmann, Sister-In-Law; Donna Bassmann, Grandchildren; Gabriella Kempf, AnnaBeth Kempf, Bennett Morrow, and Finnegan Morrow.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Lewis and Mary Bassmann, and Brother; Samuel Bassmann.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City with a funeral to follow at 12:00pm, and inurnment at Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
