She was born on March 16, 1935, in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Victor and Marie McNamara Peppel.
Sally was a member of St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Columbiana and had worked as a toll collector for the Ohio Turnpike Commission, as well as the owner and operator of Neiheisel Sand & Gravel in Leetonia with her husband Thomas. Sally is survived by her three daughters, Pamela (Joseph) Yuhanick of Columbiana, Cheryl Brothers of Columbiana and Connie Bowen of Raleigh, NC; three sons, Edward (JoAnn) Neiheisel of Canfield, Steve (Autumn) Neiheisel of Columbiana and Thomas (Kerri) Neiheisel Jr. of Hill City, SD; a daughter-in-law, Jane Neiheisel of Leetonia; her half-sister, Marianne Will of Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Yuhanick; a son, Peter Neiheisel; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Neiheisel; sister, Karen Peppel and a brother, Charles Peppel.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Sally will be laid to rest with her husband at Grandview Cemetery, Salem.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Covington and Southern Care Hospice for the kind and compassionate care that was shown to Sally.
