NEIHEISEL, Paul J., passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 63. He was born in Cincinnati, OH, the son of late Wilbur and Mary Jean (nee D’Arcy) Neiheisel.
He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 40 years, Leah (nee Hammons). Loving father of Tessa (Michael) Wiegele, Jake (Andrea) Neiheisel, Will (Maria) Neiheisel. Cherished Papa to Cece, Leo, Violet, and Vinny. Beloved brother of Mark (Kathy) Neiheisel and Diane (Greg) Gerhardt. Dear son-in-law of Helen and the late Edward Hammons. Cherished brother-in-law of Beth (Mike Lahey) Scheid, Elaine (Steve Pfeiffer) Kroth, and Tom (Therese) Hammons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with other family members and amazing friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his loved brother-in-law Steve Hammons.
Paul had a rare gift for making everyone feel like an old friend, even if they had just met him — a kindness that was returned in the way people loved him from the very first hello. Helping others came naturally for him, whether through his work, his everyday life, or the years he spent coaching. He found joy in music, often singing along to his favorite songs. He had a smile that could brighten any room. Above all, he was the best husband, dad, Papa, brother, uncle, friend, and person anyone could hope to know.
Visitation at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown RD., SUNDAY from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catharine of Siena, 2848 Fisher Pl., Cincinnati, OH 45211, on MONDAY at 10:30 AM. Paul will be inurned at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
