Sally Gamblin Poe

Sally Poe passed away on July 9, 2011. Survived by loving and cherished husband of 44 years, Robert L. Poe; loving sister: Betty Astleford; brother-in-law: Keith (Nell) Tomlin; children: Shearer Spears, Debra (Sam) Edwards, Mike (Rebecca) Tisdale, Bob (Julie) Poe, Jim (Annette) Poe, and Cooper (Nydia) Tisdale; grandchildren: Dylan Spears, Becky Sellars, Samantha Granstaff, Sara Rose, Kellie Davenport, Kristen Poe, Michael Tisdale, and Lt. Rob Poe; and twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: Grandsons and friends. Honorary Pallbearers: Employees of HRH Dumplins Inc of Franklin. Visitation will be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home Monday, July 11th from 4-8 p.m. Services, conducted by Dr. Sally Hughes, are at the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Visitation at the church is for one hour prior to the service. Sally was one of the Pink Ladies with various hospitals for twenty-five years and served on the Board of Directors of the Heritage Foundation, actively supported many local charities and was a past member of the Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club. She was the owner of HRH Dumplins Inc of Franklin. Make memorial contributions in Sally’s honor to the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church (435 Main Street, Franklin TN 37064).
