Sally Jean (Crawford) Seeks, 81, of Marion, IA. A beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 14, 2025. Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am Memorial Service at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. Interment will held privately at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years John D. Seeks, and three wonderful daughters, Jeanette (Quico) Ramirez, Jolene (Tim) Kneeland, and Lori Seeks; grandmother of six, Yolanda Rodriguez, Joseph DeBow, Joshua (Amber) Kneeland, Kayla Kneeland, Trevor Chalstrom and Danica (Kaitryn) Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Decimus (Hayley), Khalil (Caydence), Liliana, Rylee, Maximus, Connor, Adalynn, Parker and Beckett; two great-great grandchildren, Kamari and Kassidy; siblings, Peggy (Joe) Smiley, Ann (Chuck) Laviotette and Charmaine Ross, Don Crawford and Jerry Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis Crawford; Margaret (Schroeder) and Charles Johanningmeier; mother and father-in-law, Darrell and LaDonna Seeks; siblings, John Crawford, David Crawford, Tom Crawford, JoAnn Crawford and Kay Lowe and two great-grandchildren, Kaleak Robert Rodriguez and Abigail Julia DeBow.

Sally was born on August 10, 1944, in Dubuque, IA. After graduating from Springville High School in 1962, she married John Darrell Seeks on February 23, 1963, at St. Isidore Catholic Church. An amazing quilter and cake decorator, Sally expressed her love through her hands whether sewing a cherished quilt or baking a cake for a special occasion. Anyone who received one of her quilts was truly wrapped in her warmth and care.

She is the "whole package" wrapped into that little 5'2" and a 1/4" "little bit", and if you've never met her, you have truly missed out! The love, beauty, sass, feistiness, humor, kindness, honesty and caring that's all wrapped within, poured from her and we were truly blessed with the best and beyond grateful.

We would also like to thank all of the special caregivers and staff that took exceptional care of Sally in the short time she was at the Hiawatha Care Center.
