North Stonington - Sally (Brown) Trice, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Sally was born to the late Kenneth and Madeleine Brown. She graduated from Wheeler High School in1957, and was married in 1959 to Harry Trice Jr., who predeceased her in February of 2024. They were married for 64 years, a milestone of which they were proud. She leaves behind her two beloved children, Linda (Trice) Nardone (Henry III) in Laytonsville, MD, and Gary Trice (Kristy) Jacksonville, FL, and two beloved and highly favored grandchildren, Angela Nardone and Micah Trice.

Sally was a faithful and dedicated stay-at-home mother, and, over time, she was also employed as a bookkeeper and payroll admin for varying companies, including plating, toys, water treatment, etc., and spent many years with an entertainment venue. She was known for her attention to detail and calm demeanor in stressful circumstances.

She was a longstanding member of the Second Baptist Church of North Stonington, a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the bowling league. From her youth, Sally loved to cook and bake. She was an exceptional baker and cake decorator, blessing many with her gifts. She thoroughly enjoyed preparing canned goods, baked goods, vegetables, flowers, etc. for the North Stonington Fair, volunteering for many years and contributing yearly entries for well over 70 years.

Sally had the heart of a servant, a welcoming smile and a warm greeting for all. She loved her Lord, she's with Him now, and, for that, we celebrate.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, October 9th at 12:00 p.m. at the Union Cemetery, 154 Pendleton Hill Road in North Stonington (adjacent to the Second Baptist Church). There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Second Baptist Church of North Stonington in Sally's memory. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, Westerly, RI will facilitate the service. To share a note of remembrance or condolence with her family, please visit: www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
