Sally Turner Walker

Sally Turner Walker passed away at Baylor St. Luke's hospital in Houston, TX on December 8, 2023. She was born in Yazoo City to the late Stella Smith Turner and the late Ross Turner. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to William H. (Bill) Walker and mother to Laura Walker Collins and Emilee Walker Puckett (John) sister to the late Joann Turner Wilburn and twin sister to Stella Turner Melton, grandmother to Emilee Collins, Olivia Collins and Emma Puckett. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. The family invites you to wear your favorite colorful attire to celebrate "Sassy's" vibrance and love for life and join them for visitation at Christ United Methodist Church on December 14, 2023 at 4pm with a Service of Remembrance at 5pm. A reception will follow at the Country Club of Jackson. A celebration of life will also be held in New Orleans after the new year.
