SALVATORE J. CARMOSINO

CARMOSINO, Salvatore J. Of Tolland, CT, aged 80, passed away unexpectedly, on August 21, 2024, in Rochester, NY. He dedicated 35 years of service to the American Airlines Reservation office in Harford. He was a passionate historian and an active member of historical re-enactment communities, including the Acton Minutemen, the 5th CT Regiment and the Sturbridge Minnet Co. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn Carmosino; daughters, Joanne Sherwood and Audrey Feitor; son, David Carmosino; granddaughters, Andrea Smith and Laura Carmosino; great-grandson, Anderson Smith, Jr.; sister, Joanne Leonard; nephews, John Palmariello and James Palmariello; and many cousins. Salvatore was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise (Cionti) Carmosino; and mother-in-law, June Karlock. A Funeral Mass will be held on December 21, 2024, at 11:00 am, at St. Bernard's Church, in Rockville, CT, followed by a brief cemetery procession and a lunch reception in the church hall to Celebrate his Life.
