Salvatore Cetrulo Obituary
Salvatore Cetrulo, 81, of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born in Newark, Salvatore was raised in Bloomfield and was the son of the late Vito and Theresa (Guarnieri) Cetrulo. He was a police officer for Nutley Police Department for 30 years and owned and operated Sal Cetrulo Floor Covering. In previous years he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed going out to dinner and vacations with his wife and friends, and breakfasts with the guys. Salvatore was a people person, hardworking, kind, and caring. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife Jeanne (Merich) Cetrulo, his children Kirk Cetrulo and Desiree Cetrulo, his grand dog Jack, and numerous relatives and friends.
A short visitation will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church,129 Prospect St., Nutley, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30AM.
