Sam Butera Obituary
Gates: Monday, December 18, 2023, at age 81. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Felicia Butera. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jane E. Butera. Daughter, Melissa Butera; stepdaughters, Debbie (Jim) Maier and Mary Jane (Dan) Maier; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jo (Carmen) Cordaro; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and "The Boys" at the Barber Shop.
Sam was a Barber in the Sea Breeze area for over 50 years.
No Prior Calling. On Friday, December 22, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude's Site), 4100 Lyell Road, Gates. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 (lollypop.org) in his memory.

Sam was our cousin and he's been calling us for years to talk about how he loved Florida! We are saddened that he's gone now, but he's in a better place. We are living in Florida other wise we would be in Rochester for the funeral.

Sam was a great guy. my parents and grandparents loved him. my papa used to take me to see him at the barber shop when i was little. Sammy was a real life pauly walnuts to me.
