Sam E. Keebaugh

Sam E. Keebaugh, 50, of Doylesburg, formerly of Chambersburg, entered into rest January 23, 2024, in Hershey Medical Center following an illness of 4 years. As a beloved Man of God, he was surrounded by the presence of his family and the Holy Spirit.
Born June 21, 1973, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Edgar Ross and Dorothy Hope (Black) Keebaugh of Chambersburg. He graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1991. He had lived in Path Valley for 14 years.
Sam was a maintenance mechanic at Bimbo Bakeries in Carlisle for 25 years until retiring due to illness in 2022.
He was a member of Fair Ridge Assembly of God, Shade Gap, and served on the Board of Directors of The Broken Wall in Doylesburg. He loved to hunt and fish as well as creating things with his hands.
Sam was truly loved by his family and many friends. His family described him as a cherished husband, father, son, and brother.
Surviving with his parents, Edgar and Dorothy, is his wife, Carrie L. (Bailey) Keebaugh, his son, Jamie E. Keebaugh of Doylesburg, a sister, Sue Bodner and her husband, Kevin of Chambersburg and nephews, Spencer and Kody Bodner.
A Celebration of Sam's Life will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11 AM in the Fair Ridge Assembly of God, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, with Rev. Glenn H. Rousselle officiating. Friends may call at the church prior to the service from 10 to 11. Following the service there will be a luncheon and fellowship in the Ministry Center.
