Sam was a good encourager and a great role model.
For over twenty years he has been the teacher in my Bible Study group, and he has been a cornerstone I could return to in time of trials and many life events.
His love of life as granted by God was great, and He expressed that love in his practice of medicine, caring for others, and thanking God for the blessing of his wife and family, but was quick to remind our class of the universal attitude of God the Father for all of His children.
He possessed a dry wry wit, and it was always a great pleasure to be able to see him smile or laugh in agreement.
As any good Baptist, he loved food, good food, and was particularly fond of grilling, cinnamon rolls (not the dinky ones from a can), and Chili with the express understanding that beans had no place in that Texas staple.
Most of all he loved God and our church as a place that fostered a love of God for all who sought Him.
I grieve, but I rejoice that he is with His maker, our Lord and Savior, his wife and many family and friends, and no longer feels the discomforts of our life on Earth.
God, grant Sam eternal rest, and comfort those he has left behind.

Sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Law. As a patient of his for many years, I appreciated his kind and gentle nature and his sense of humor. God bless him. Our world has lost a very good man.
