Sam Watson was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and a loyal friend with a great heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.
Sam was proud to be from Bellmead, TX. He attended La Vega ISD and achieved his Associates in Electronics at TSTI. He served as an airborne ranger in the US Army. He spent the last 37 years working as a Simulator Technician at Fort Hood where he expanded his skills and developed lifelong friendships.
Sam was proceeded in death by his parents, Elbert and Joan Watson, his wife Paula Costello Watson, father-in-law Paul Costello, and father-in-law Raymond Kral.
He is survived by his sister, Lisa Powers and her husband John Powers, his brother in law Billy Costello and his fiancé Trena Gibson, his mother in law, Edith Kral, his daughters Kalyn and her boyfriend Jacob Colwell, Tyler and her fiancé Zayne Bluestone, Haley and her boyfriend Hunter Royal, his nephew Derek and his wife, Savannah Watson, his niece Alyssa and her husband Tommy Gerard, and 12 grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
He was loved by so many and all who would like to attend services are welcome. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. Sam will be greatly missed.
