Sam Ellis Weathers Jr.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Sam's passing. Sam and Elizabeth were our first Wild West History Association contacts! They took us under wing and looked after us like family at the first WWHA Roundup we attended in Golden, CO. He and Elizabeth have remained more like family than friends ever since! Although Sam's soft voice has been silenced, memories of his quiet voice and chuckle linger in our memory. And so many memories of good times spent with Sam at the Roundups and during our visits will never be forgotten! Many and especially us will miss him.
