Samantha Rose Ainsworth of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on July 29, 2023. She was 31 years old. Samantha was born in the Netherlands on February 12, 1992, to her loving parents, Kevin and Valerie McAuliffe. She was baptized and took her first communion at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, where she was an altar server alongside her mother.
Because her father was in the military, Samantha was given the opportunity to see much of the world. She loved to travel, and growing up, she and her parents, along with their dog, Johnny Bravo, would make the annual trip to Arkansas to stay in a cabin in the Ozark mountains. She also enjoyed going to the ocean in the town of Duxbury, Massachusetts. Samantha attended Moore High School and was an active member of the theater and drama club, lettering in drama her Junior and Senior years. She was incredibly talented and charismatic on the stage, and quite musically inclined, especially with the flute and piano. Samantha graduated in the top 10% of her class at Moore High, Class of 2010.
Known as "Mama Bear", Samantha's entire life revolved around her two children, Simon, and Anastasia. Her babies were her everything and the absolute light of her life. She loved taking them swimming, to the zoo, museums, and of course, enjoyed their frequent excursions to Chick-fil-A. Simon and Anastasia especially loved their mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies. She was an incredibly affectionate, sweet mama, cherishing every hug she gave her babies, never letting go until they did first.
Samantha was strong, sweet, bubbly, and outgoing, with a zest for life and a generous, giving heart, especially for other people. She never hesitated to help any person who needed it, and she never failed to show her gratitude to those who helped her. She was highly intelligent, always using her intellect to help other people and to better herself. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and sharing her favorite songs with her friends. She especially loved celebrating her favorite holidays, particularly after Simon and Anastasia were born. Everyone that knew Samantha knows just how much she looked forward to Halloween each year.
While her life came to an end far too soon, the immense good she radiated into the world during her time on this earth will be everlasting. Samantha was a loving mother, daughter, and granddaughter, and a loyal friend to so many. Her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be deeply and forever missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have been graced by her presence.
Left to treasure her memory are her parents, Kevin and Valerie, her two children, Simon, and Anastasia, her grandmother, Rose Marie Rytlewski, and many more friends and family who loved her to the moon and back.
A wake service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, beginning at 7:00pm at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, located at 800 NW 5th St. in Moore.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Moore. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to: Any BancFirst location "Benefit Account for Simon and Anastasia Ainsworth".

My favorite memory with her is when I always would go to the office and I would always see her smile and welcome me with open arms.

I am an old friend of Samantha and just heard the news. The world is definitely darker without her light. Samantha was so amazing..so sweet and so wonderful. I will forever notice this dimmer world without her.
