Samantha Anne Bunting, 28, of Eastampton, NJ, passed away on September 3, 2025. Born on August 3, 1997, Samantha entered this world as a fighter and lived each day with strength, love, and compassion.
A life-long Philadelphia Eagles fan, Samantha brought the same energy and devotion she had for her team into every aspect of her life. She was known for her caring nature, joyful spirit, and determination to achieve her goals despite any obstacle in her path. She also carried a touch of sass, which made her all the more endearing to those who loved her - always ready with a witty remark or playful attitude that could lighten any room.
Samantha earned her associate's degree from Rowan College and was pursuing her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Drew University. She had a gift for working with children and was devoted to helping them grow, learn, and thrive. At the time of her passing, she was serving as an Educational Assistant with the Hamilton Township Public Schools. She also cherished her position at Mercer County Technical Schools, where she worked closely with the Horticulture Department and quickly formed meaningful and lasting relationships with students and staff alike.
In addition to her professional life, Samantha dedicated her time as a volunteer for the Sunshine Foundation of Mercer County. As a top-rated children's charity, the Sunshine Foundation answers the dreams and wishes of children, ages three through eighteen, who have severe or profound physical, developmental, or intellectual challenges. Through this work, Samantha further demonstrated her passion for helping children and her commitment to spreading joy and hope.
Samantha is survived by her loving mother, Lisa Bunting. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara and Robert Bunting, who now welcome her with open arms. Though she leaves behind no siblings, Samantha was surrounded by a circle of devoted friends who became her chosen family and stood faithfully by her side.
Even at the end, Samantha's generosity and selflessness shone through. As an organ donor, she gave the ultimate gift-the gift of life-to others, a true reflection of her spirit and the kind of person she was.
Samantha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her vibrant smile, her little bit of sass, unwavering kindness, and compassionate heart touched countless lives, and her memory will live on in the many people she inspired.
