This was an amazing man. He would come to the Community Services Department of our church every other month or so. A very sweet man. My heart goes out to his family for I know he will be greatly missed. I loved talking about the Lord with him. He also shared some great life stories when he came in.

Sammie Muldrow was a man that was one of a kind. We met Sammie in 1974 when we moved to Florence. Sammie had a wonderful wife and six children and drove a big station wagon. The Muldrow family was a share croppers family and worked fields on the Owens farm . In 1990 Labor Day Week Sammie was hired to work for the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Sammie had two jobs in his life time. Me being his neighbor for 46 years and working with him at the SCHP . Sammie was a good husband and took care of his kids. Closing I can say that Sammie worked for the things he had and he would want his grandkids to do the same. Sammie I will see you in Heaven.PS don't catch all the fish before I get there. Love you Capt. David Jordan
