Samual Alan Zenero, 63, of Richmond passed away on January 2, 2025.
Sam was born on May 27, 1961 in Almont, Michigan the son of the late Febo and Marjorie (Glassford)Zenero.
He had a passion for collecting Budweiser signs and memorabilia, a hobby that reflected his vibrant personality. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions, he cheered for his team with unwavering loyalty. Above all, Sam cherished his grandchildren, holding them closest to his heart and delighting in their every accomplishment. Known for his loving and accepting nature, Sam saw the best in everyone he met, leaving a legacy of compassion and kindness.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jamie, with whom he shared a beautiful love story. The two met in 1995 while working at the Armada Rubber Factory, began dating in 2012, and celebrated their marriage in 2019 in Port Huron, Michigan.
A proud father and grandfather, Sam is survived by his son, Nicholas (Samantha) Zenero, and his stepdaughter, Jennifer Sultan and step-son, Christopher Sultan. He was a doting papa to Chevelle, Ahnilee, King, Aerilla, Diamond, and Jonathan, who brought endless joy to his life.
Sam was also a beloved brother to Steve (Lisa), Scott, Shaun, Sandy (Terri), and Sue.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sheryl.
The family honors the memory of Sam and invites you to visit and share memories on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
