I´ve known Sam for 35 years in fact he was responsible for my first job in the hospitality industry and my last. He was a great man and a mentor. God bless the Agee family during this time.

Liz,I'm so sorry to hear of Sam's
passing. Sam absolutely was one of the smartest hospitality people I ever had the opportunity to work with. There's no way to describe what I personally learned from Sam.
What I learned from him allowed me to move on from the food and beverage area to operation of my own property in Raleigh, NC.
There were times when I was at the Sheraton with him we'd head out for a run together.
I pray that God will give you the strength during these most difficult times.
God Bless

I was truly saddened to hear of Sam's passing. I worked with him at IMIC Hotels and he taught me a lot about the hotel industry and its lingo but he also taught me through his own example of how to be compassionate to others at all times. It is a lesson I have carried into my own life all these decades and I will forever fondly and respectfully speak his name.

Liz, we will miss Sam - he was a kind and gentle soul and always had time to talk with " all the cousins". Mama talked about keeping Sam for Aunt Caroline when he was a young boy. He didn´t like wearing pajamas and she would have to chase him through the house! I laugh at that story and hope it makes you smile. Praying you will have peace and comfort. We love you and know Sam is with our Lord.
Love, Aunt Ellen, Sandy and Jim
