Obituary:

In loving memory of Samuel Earl Dorrough, a man whose presence illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Samuel passed away on March 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, style, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Born on July 28, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, Samuel's journey through life was one marked by his unique personality traits. Described as nice and someone who easily connected with others, he was known for his impeccable appearance and a strong sense of protectiveness towards his loved ones. Samuel's attention to detail extended beyond his personal style; it reflected in every aspect of his life.

Among his many passions were listening to hip-hop and old school music, spending peaceful days fishing or strolling in the park, customizing cars with precision and care, showcasing his moves on the dance floor (especially to the rhythm of James Brown), dressing impeccably, and mastering the art of barbecuing.

One of Samuel's proudest accomplishments was raising his four children with love, guidance, and unwavering support. His dedication to family knew no bounds and served as a guiding light for those around him.

The Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas will be hosting services to honor and celebrate Samuel's life. A viewing will take place on April 5, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 8:30 PM. The Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM also at Golden Gate Funeral Home.

Samuel Earl Dorrough will be deeply missed by his family.
