Samuel Gresham Obituary
Son of Sam and Mary Gresham, he was a lifelong resident of Wilmington, NC. Devoted to his wife, Alida, of 65 years and his church First Baptist, Sam shared his love of music with all. Sam will be remembered as a kind and generous man with a love of family. Sam was owner/operator of STG Transport for more than 40 years. Serving as driver, mechanic and any other needed job he displayed a strong work ethic.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of wife Alida, sons Mark(Wendy) and Scott(Amy), and sister Diane Hemby(Dennis), five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and many others that knew him.
He was preceded in death by sister Jeanne VanDuynne and parents Sam and Mary Gresham.
A private service will be held at the Columbarium at the First Baptist Church on Thursday, February 13. 2025 at 11am.
