Samuel Jaquez

Samuel Longoria Jaquez, 66, of Wharton, TX passed away suddenly on June 13, 2023, at a Wharton hospital. He was born on June 10, 1957, in Wharton to the late Ignacio and Antonia Longoria Jaquez.
Samuel was raised in the Wharton area and graduated from Wharton High School. He met the love of his life, Robin, while playing pinball and they were married on April 4, 1977. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2023. Samuel and Robin both loved to play bingo, scratch off Lottery tickets, fishing with the family and spending time with their grandchildren and going to their various events. He was also a hugh Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Jaquez.
Samuel is survived by his children, Tiffany Jaquez Mitchell and husband, Keith of Wharton, Aron Jaquez and wife, Amanda of Wharton and Jonathan Zahn and wife Rosie of The Woodlands, grandchildren, Hunter, Levi, Jaxon, Chloe and Catalina, sisters, France Alameda, and Antonia Cisneros and brothers, David, Pablo, Daniel and Andres Jaquez, and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10 am at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
