Samuel 1:20, 22 NKJV So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.” But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the Lord and remain there forever.”
On August 30 at 7:53 in the morning we welcomed our little, 5lb 4oz, 18in long, Samuel Isaac Johnson into our arms after he went to meet Jesus first. God heard our prayers and answered them by bringing our Samuel home to be with Him. We knew our time with him on earth would be short but are comforted in knowing that he is in heaven with Jesus. We know that not a day will go by that we won't think of him and wonder who he would have become. We are at peace knowing that he is in heaven with Jesus and we will get to see him again.
You are forever loved, our little Angel, Samuel.
