SAMUEL RAYMOND KASBERG I Samuel Raymond Kasberg I (Sam), 82, passed on January 11, 2025, to enter his eternal home in heaven. Funeral services were January 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Sam was born in Westphalia, Texas on December 6, 1942, to Walter and Bernadine Kasberg. He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School, San Antonio, Texas. He worked in the electrical field for 47 years. During his time of employment at Three Rives Electric, he earned his Master Electrician license and became the General Manager of the Brownwood Division. Sam married the love of his life, Sylvia Trevino, in 1963, and had four beautiful children. He will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family, wisdom, strength, intelligence, humor, faith, provision and leadership. He had a passion for playing the guitar, music, fishing and enjoyed a good deer camp. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Sam is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kasberg, children daughter-in-law Trisha Kasberg, Donna Tomlinson (Eddie), Stephanie Adamez (Jerry), Samuel Raymond Kasberg II (Amy), thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, sister Denise Cavaness, several nieces and nephews, and Mark D. Butler. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Kasberg. Mother Bernadine Kasberg, brothers Walter (Buddy) Kasberg and William (Bill) Kasberg, sister Kae Self, son Larry Kasberg I, grandchildren Larry Kasberg II, Starski Sudderth, and Kalista Sudderth. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A tribute to Sam's life can be found at www.heritagefuneraltx.com where you can leave memories and expressions of sympathy for the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brownwood.
