In Loving Memory of Samuel Luke Kingsland Burke
March 24, 1997 - March 6, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel Luke Kingsland Burke, a beloved son, father, uncle, and friend. Sam left this world on March 6, 2024. Born on March 24, 1997, to proud parents Luke and Sue Burke, Sam brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew him.
Sam is survived by his handsome son, Bentley Matthew Kingsland Burke, who was the pride and joy of his life. Sam's legacy lives on in the beautiful blue eyes that Bentley luckily inherited from his father, a constant reminder of the love and laughter they shared. In addition to his loving son, Sam is survived by his dear sisters and brother, each carrying a piece of his spirit forward. Tara Higgins, along with her husband Adam Higgins, Sam's nephews, Jaxxon, Shane, and Callen. Equally affected by the void left behind are his sister Casey Burke and brother Adam Burke, who share in the grief of losing a sibling who enriched their lives with love and camaraderie.
Sam attended Northwestern Regional High School #7 and graduated with the class of 2015. Throughout his life, he developed a passion for carpentry, taking great pride in his work. He dedicated his professional life to Authentic Renovations LLC, where he thrived under the guidance of his boss and mentor, Ric McAllistor. Sam's craftsmanship and dedication to his craft will be remembered by all who benefited from his skillful hands.
In addition to his professional achievements, Sam had a zest for life that touched everyone around him. He enjoyed the simplicity and tranquility of fishing, finding peace by the water. Known as the life of the party, and boy did he party, Sam's infectious laughter could lift the spirits of those in any room. His ability to bring joy to others was unparalleled, making him a cherished friend to many.
Sam's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the vibrant and meaningful life he lived. May Samuel Luke Kingsland Burke rest in eternal peace.
