Samuel E. (Sam) McCullough, 80, of Penfield, pass away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born March 9, 1945, to the late Delbert and Helen (Rhine) McCullough.

On August 25,1970, Sam married the love of his life Linda (Keller) McCullough in DuBois. She survives.

Sam was a graduate of Bennetts Valley High School, a proud veteran serving in the Navy from 1966 – 1971, retired from Triangle Auto Springs.

He enjoyed his hobbies, which included: hunting, volunteering at the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Reynoldsville, being a caretaker of the Conway Cemetery and his favorite was watching his children and grandchildren grown up.

Sam is survived by a loving family: wife Linda, children, Michael (Bobbie Jo) McCullough of DuBois, Michelle (Craig) Mossbrooks of Penfield, Delbert (Amy) McCullough of Penfield, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister Helen Marlene (Charles) Kunes of Caledonia.

He was proceeded by his parents, a daughter Mellisa Volpe and brothers Delbert and Fred McCullough, Lewis and Charles Cain.

As per Sam's wishes, there will be no public services. Interment will take place in Conway Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Helping Hands Food Pantry 329 Jackson Street Reynoldsville, PA 15851.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium.
