Samuel Moore Obituary

lot, thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul". Rev. Dr. Samuel C. Moore
formerly of Elizabeth City, North Carolina entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Dr.
Moore was a retired professor from Elizabeth City State University in the Department of
Language, Literature & Communication.
Celebration of Live Services will be Friday, June 30, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Red Hill United Church
of Christ, 10412 Buffalo Road, Clayton, North Carolina, 27527. Entombment will be in Memorial
Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, North Carolina, 27597. Visitation/viewing will be
before service from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Chapppell's Funeral Home in Garner, North Carolina is assisting the family.
