Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Ursula; children, Johnny (Denise) Morbit, Judy Morbit, Sandra Morbit, Joseph K. (Linda) Morbit, Patricia Warren and Jeffrey Morbit; grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) Blanco, Sean (Stefanie) Pittman, Kyle Pittman, Aaron and Austin Rachels, Benjamin Morbit, Mary (Adam) Young, John and Madeline Harper; sisters, Rose, Shirley, Nancy and Rita; brothers, Tommy and Terry Morbit; great-grandchildren, Aubree Pittman and Henry Young and many other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving friends 6 PM- 8PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 1 PM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Teresa of Avila at 4921 Columbia Rd. Grovetown, Georgia 30813. Interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Opa,
I could not have had a better grandfather. Thank you for everything you've done for me and always being there when I needed you! You picked me up early in the mornings when I was a baby, took me on trips in and around the South East with Oma, let me ride with you on the tractor, and even taught me to drive in the Chevy S10. You were always giving me advice on life and home repairs,and cracker barrel options, which I'll never forget. I'm glad I got to return the favor by taking you up to Atlanta and getting you one of Georgia's finest Athens beers. You had an incredible life story, which is part of the reason I wanted to pursue history in school. Thank you for being so involved in my life and helping raise the family I have today. You gave me the courage to do things I never thought I could accomplish. I'm sure we'll see each other again soon. Love you!

Please be with Saint Peter when I enter into the gate of Heaven until then please pray for me and I will pray for you. Your animals miss you very much especially Precious. A loving husband to our mother, a father who made our life complete. Finally free of pain yet our hearts are broken because we miss him so much. Like my son, Kyle, said "rather than being sad we should be happy that he is finally free of pain. And my son, Sean, said "we should be jealous because he is in a better place." And his great grand baby, Aubree, who brought much joy to my father and mother. I am sure her presence made him smile. We love you daddy and will continue to pray for you and please pray for us.
