Mr. Samuel Edward Morlet, age 67, of Dallas passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born in Camp Pendleton, California on April 16, 1957. Mr. Morlet is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Morlet and by his great-grandson, Santiago Marley Morlet.
Sam, lovingly referred to as “Pops”, enjoyed a round of golf every chance he could. He never met a stranger and always had a good "dad joke" to tell. He loved and spoiled his sweet dog 'Stash". He always tuned in for his Ga Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. He loved quality time with friends and family. He enjoyed a nice Harley ride from time to time and never passed up an opportunity to share a laugh. He was a good friend, a great father and an amazing grandfather. He was a Carpenter by trade and he maintained his own Construction Company up until the time of his passing. Above all, Sam made an impact on everyone he knew and loved, he will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Crystal Morlet of Temple; his mother, Elida Allison of Lemmon Valley, Nevada; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Teresa Morlet of Whitewater, California, Stan and Jeri Morlet of San Marcos, California, Steve Morlet of Cold Springs, Nevada, and Simeon Allison of Chico, California; his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Carlos Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Madison Morlet, Lucas Mousseau, Liam Morlet, and a number of other relatives.
