I had the pleasure of meeting Sam at Winn Dixie where I work on the weekends. He was always full of love, laughter and light. On Saturday I would look forward to his smiling face walking through the door with a lollipop in his mouth and a "Hiya Rach." He would always ask how my Mom was doing after her surgery and really care about how I was. He knew us all by name at Winn Dixie and was loved by all of us. He found joy in leaving lotto tickets for us. I imagined winning and us sharing the pot of gold. Ultimately I did win the jackpot at having Sam in my life as a constant friend. I can't imagine by first Saturday tomorrow morning without his beautiful presence. I do however find peace in knowing his amazing presence is now delighting our Heavenly Father and Lord . This is not goodbye lovely Sam but only I'll see you in a little while. I look forward to seeing you again Sam. Until then a part of you will always remain with each of us at Winn Dixie. Love you bunches.
