Samuel Albert Panto
(09/30/1958-12/08/2024)
Born to Joseph Panto and Rita Ippolito in Lawrence Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jane (Tobin) Panto, his father Joseph Panto and sister Marie Shepard. He spent the majority of his life in the New England area. In 2012 he would find his way to the Ancient City Coast to reunite with his family, who had made that journey many years before. His arrival would not only be cherished by his immediate family, but also by those in the area that he would come to know. On any given day he could be found strolling down US1 from his home, to the bank, or a store, talking with everyone along the way. These daily interactions would come to shape the memories that we have when we think of Sam. He is remembered by everyone along those walks and by the family that loves him, for his kindness, gentle nature and his sense of humor that he so often shared, adding a playfulness to the world.
He is survived by his Mother Rita Ippolito, sister Lydia Keohane, brother in law Bill Keohane, niece Wendy Keohane, and nephews
Billy Keohane and Justin Shepard.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sam at Winn Dixie where I work on the weekends. He was always full of love, laughter and light. On Saturday I would look forward to his smiling face walking through the door with a lollipop in his mouth and a "Hiya Rach." He would always ask how my Mom was doing after her surgery and really care about how I was. He knew us all by name at Winn Dixie and was loved by all of us. He found joy in leaving lotto tickets for us. I imagined winning and us sharing the pot of gold. Ultimately I did win the jackpot at having Sam in my life as a constant friend. I can't imagine by first Saturday tomorrow morning without his beautiful presence. I do however find peace in knowing his amazing presence is now delighting our Heavenly Father and Lord . This is not goodbye lovely Sam but only I'll see you in a little while. I look forward to seeing you again Sam. Until then a part of you will always remain with each of us at Winn Dixie. Love you bunches.
