Sam was such a friend, confidant, partner and good guy. His wonderfully false pessimistic view of life only inspired the rest of us to dwell on the positive. Conversations with Sam, and I had them at least weekly, were unique. His insights, humor and even his half full glass were so memorable. No one brought me more joy by his presence. I miss you Sam.
