Samuel Sauceda

Samuel Sauceda, age 82, of Holland, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Samuel is Survived by, San Juana (Janie) Sauceda, his wife of 58 years, whom he built a family that was the center of his world. Their children, Magdelena (Maggie) – (Jesse Jr) Uribe, Melissa (Jose) Salinas, Ramona (Lupe) Rodriguez, Rebecca (Miguel) Rosales, (14) cherished grandchildren and (15) Extremely loved and Cherished great grandchildren.

Samuel was an extraordinary man. A hard-working provider to his wife and daughters. A man with an attitude to navigate life and never give Up. Samuel loved fishing, cooking, dancing and gardening with the love of his life, Janie. Above all else "Sammy" loved Being around his family and friends and making them laugh and building Memories.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 29, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 30, at 10:00am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, Holland. Visitation will also be held from 9:00am to 9:45am prior to the Mass.
