Samuel Alden "Peewee" Stafford

Graveside Services for Samuel Alden Stafford, 84, of Toxey, AL. will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 3 P.M. from the Red Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joseph Futral and Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Sam also known as "Peewee" passed away peacefully at home in Mobile County, AL. with his loving family by his side on March 30, 2026. He was born on January 15, 1942, in Choctaw County, AL. to Jake Stafford and Stella Mae Andrews Stafford. He attended Shady Grove Holiness Church in Needham, AL.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Morgan; sister, Yvonne Daniel; brother, Zeke Stafford; step-daughters, Bonnie Linder, Reena Lolley; grandsons, Dwayne Dunn, Terry Dunn; granddaughters, Kim Cooper, Lori Dunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his daddy, Jake Stafford; mother, Stella Mae Andrews Stafford; brothers, Barber Stafford, William Stafford, Jessie Long Stafford; sisters, Sara Ann Hare, Connie Lolley, Josie Price, Susie Guinn.

Pallbearers include Seth Dunn, Tommy Dunn, Kody Dunn, Eric Turner, Reginald Hare, Roy Saranthus.

Honorary Pallbearers include Eric Daniel, Rex Hare, Kyle Weaver.

The family would like to express a special thanks to his day and night caregiver, Reena Lolley.
