Samuel J. Todaro Jr., 73, of Newell, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday July 23, 2025.
Born on May 5, 1952, Sam was the son of the late Samuel J. Todaro Sr. and Frances Todaro. He was a 1970 graduate of Frazier High School and spent his career as a dedicated sales representative with Redstone Candy, where he worked until his retirement.
Sam was a loving and devoted father of two sons, Todd Todaro (Gabriella) and Brad Todaro. He was also a proud grandfather to Braeden, Connor, and Arianna Todaro, who brought him endless joy.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Todaro, and is survived by his sister-in-law, Nicki Todaro, and his niece, Tara Todaro. Sam is also remembered fondly by many cousins and extended family members.
Sam will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and deep love for his family. His warmth, generosity, and subtle sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and never missed a chance to support and care for those he loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Sam’s memory to a charity of choice.
A private celebration of life service for friends and family will be held at Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc.,Charleroi on Sunday July 27th from noon to 2pm
