Samuel Edwin Williams

July 5, 1941- January 13, 2026

Samuel Edwin Williams, 84, passed away at his home surrounded by his

family on January 13, 2026. Edwin was born July 5, 1941, in Carnesville,

Georgia, to the late Samuel and Eddie Lee Williams of Haddock, Georgia.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Dale, and his

brother, Charles Williams.

Edwin was a member of Haddock Baptist Church in Haddock, Georgia, and

retired from a career in dairy farming and the logging industry.

Survivors include his wife, Margarette Ratcliff Williams; his daughter and

son-in-law, Tonya Jarrett and her husband, Jim; his son and daughter-in-

law, Buddy Williams and his wife, Deanna; his grandson, Sam Williams,

and Hannah Price. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-law, James

Ratcliff, and Beth Jobe.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at

the Haddock Baptist Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday,

January 15, from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at the Gray Memorial Chapel.

The family thanks Ms. Ruby Hurts and Ms. Annie Pauline Roberts for their

love and compassion while providing care to Mr. Edwin. The family would

also like to thank Family Hospice for their incredible service during this time.
