Sgt. Samuel Richard Windsor, age 42, USMC (Ret.), Combat Veteran, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2026.
Samuel was an honorable United States Marine who served proudly for 16 years. He completed four combat deployments and was a combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq). Samuel held great pride and honor in serving his country, and while he has laid down his rifle for the final time, his fellow Marines know he now stands watch in Valhalla, welcomed among warriors. He will be deeply missed by his family, as well as by his brothers and sisters in the United States Marine Corps.
In his free time, Samuel enjoyed the outdoors, the ocean, motorcycles, and watching cartoons. He was passionate about food, loved horror movies, and had a carefree, kid-at-heart personality that brought laughter and light to those around him. Known for his generosity and big heart, Samuel would truly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He cherished being surrounded by friends and family, and above all, he was most proud of being a dad.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Windsor; his three daughters, Morgan (Corey) Foreman, Madison Windsor, and Emma Windsor; his two sons, Christopher Jeffers and Anderson “Michael” Windsor; his father, Mike Windsor; two brothers; two sisters; and several in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Windsor.
Samuel’s legacy of service, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
