Samyual Ethin Brant Casten

Samyual Ethin Brant Casten, age 15, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on December 15, 2009, in Mena, Arkansas, to mother, Ashley Dianne Casten.
Samyual was a light in the life of everyone he knew. He enjoyed the outdoors but could most often be found skateboarding. His favorite activity was watching movies with his girlfriend, Leah, until the very early hours of the night and then sleeping in late the next day. Ever ambitious, Samyual had recently started up his own detailing business. Samyual was loved beyond measure, he will be remembered for his kindness and mischievousness.
Samyual is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo Clark, Clara Clark, and Lane Young. He is survived by his mother, Ashley Dianne Casten; his "Momma and Pops", Brittney and Brent Rexrode; his brothers, Braylon Powell, Remmington Higgins, Alex Casten, Brayden Rexrode, and Brett Rexrode; his sisters, Heaven Casten, Madelyne Powell, Sarah Cannon, and Bella Allen ; his grandparents, Elizabeth Casten and Julia Willis; his beloved girlfriend, Leah Rexrode; as well as by a host of other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Services for Samyual Ethin Brant Casten will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Beasley-Wood Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Brother Danny Mitten will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Cherry Hill Cemetery in Cherry Hill, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Aiden Rogers, Issac Griffin, Brayden Rexrode, Alex Casten, Blake Moore, and Duncan Dill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Braylon Powell, Remmington Higgins, and Brett Rexrode.
