Sandra Almeter Obituary
Mrs. Almeter was born June 2, 1940 in Ellport, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Evanyczka) Tepsick.
A lifelong artist, devoted teacher, and passionate gardener, Sandy brought beauty and creativity into every life she touched. Sandy dedicated her life to the arts – not only through her own vibrant paintings but through decades of teaching and mentoring young artists in classrooms. Her work often inspired by the changing seasons and the natural world observed through her travels and flourishing garden.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Eric) Johncox of Attica; grandchildren, Cody Johncox of Attica, and Shelby (Nate) Orlowski of Wyoming; great-grandchild, Abel Orlowski.
Along with her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Almeter.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Art Show honoring Sandra on Wednesday (October 22, 2025) at 1:00 p.m. at the Barn Bar, 2880 Lindsey Road in Attica. Those wishing may make a memorial contribution to Stevens Memorial Library in Sandra's memory and/or plant something beautiful. Arrangements were entrusted to the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Online condolences at www.marleyfuneralhome.com.
