Sandra Binkley Obituary
Sandra was born March 2, 1947, in Evergreen Park, IL. She enjoyed caring for children in her home for several years. In retirement she did acting and comedy. Wherever Sandra went there was always a good time to be had. She lived her life to the fullest.
On February 9, 1974, Sandra married the love of her life, Mike Binkley. Mike and Sandy spent 48 years together raising their children and being wonderful grandparents and great grandparents. They enjoyed their retirement years in Lehigh Acres Florida.
Sandra is survived by her two children Kimberly Ekle (Lincoln) and Kevin Binkley as well as her grandchildren, Barrett Ekle, Cody Ekle (Kristen), Jared Ekle (Becca), Tyana Bautista (Rubenn), Michael Binkley (Allyssa), Adam Binkley, Andrea Oliver (Davis), Tyler Binkley and six great- grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, in Elwood, IL on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 9:30 am. At that time, we will be putting Mike and Sandra to rest. Mike will be honored for his service by an Honor Guard. Taps will be played at this time. After the ceremony we would like to invite all to come and share a meal with us at Mike and Sandra's favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel in Joliet, IL.
In lieu of flowers they are asking people to dedicate in honor or in memory of them to Tunnel To Towers foundation. Donations can be made at T2T.ORG.
